Character Fillout
NeutralWrite out the names of your characters and explain:
1.) How you thought of their name.
2.) What made you create the character in the first place.
3.) How the character has changed over time (If they have changed).

I) Yienniem
1.) random name generator from Progress Quest (only THE best MMO out there!). the name just kinda stuck.
2.) inspiration from shilin's Blackbird. Veloce is pretty cool, and I created a male character based on her looks.
3.) ooooh my, has Yien changed. backstory more than appearance. although he's switched from right-handed to left-handed. he originally started out as an illusionist, but that didn't work out too well. then, he moved to straight mage. that worked.
Yien has always been a royal child, although he's moved from son of a duke to prince of a country. he's always been a runaway, though the reasons have changed. first, it was simply because he wanted to see the world. now, it's because the nobles are persecuting the commoners, and Yien wants to go out and change that.
originally, he was a normal magic-using human. but I changed the world around to that magic was uncommon, and only select few could use it. then that changed to all royalty being distant descendants of elves, who've now gone extinct. it explains his uncommon silver hair and purple eye color.
as an illusionist, Yien was a traveling performer. when I took illusions away, he played the flute. now, he plays the lute and sings as a bard. he still has a feminine voice, though.
tl;dr
4.) Yienniem has absolutely no alcohol tolerance. he gets drunk after one mug and gets extremely friendly.
II) Ryuuji
1.) Japanese origin: dragon (still haven't decided what the "ji" stands for). although he's not of Asian descent or a dragon of any sort.
2.) an old ooooooold forum called Salendair. interesting fantasy world. Ryuuji was my character for it and I rped with Nazgul-Crayon using him. the site has long since been lost, but thankfully my friend had saved all the entries (I thought I had, too, but those were gone as well).
3.) Ryuuji is my oldest character and is part of the longest rp I've ever done. due to not wanting to start anything over again (as Crayon and I are wont to do when we change things with characters/plot), we've changed our characters both gradually and dramatically over time.
Ryuuji originally started out as a were-sheep. yes, you heard me correctly. like a werewolf, except he gets horns along with his sharp teeth. he also has a split personality.
I decided the were-sheep thing didn't make much sense, so I turned him into a demon with a psychological problem, where whenever he sees the full moon, it reminds him of something horrible and he goes berserk. of course, he doesn't realize this yet, and still thinks he's a were-creature.
the alternate personality started as the were-sheep's personality, but eventually turned into a personality created to save Ryuuji from the horrors that were the world...and himself. I eventually added a third personality which is a berserk form, which only lasts one day.
I think...that I'm quite happy with this end result.
4.) Ryuuji lost his virginity at the age of 14 to someone who was in his late-20s. he was quite in love...until his lover attempted to kill him. Ryuuji went berserk, literally tore his lover to pieces, and then nearly died himself. he still has a scar on his back and chest from the sword that went through it.
he also never found out the reason for the betrayal and probably never will. but since I hate to let such a good plot go to waste, he may find out...someday.
III) Nagi
1.) I have no idea. Japanese-based, obviously. I think I took it from Tenjho Tenge, though I'm not quite sure.
2.) I attempted to write my own version of the Pokemon Gold story. it was never written, but...Nagi was the Rival. this was also before Rival was revealed to be Giovanni's son, so...yeah
3.) Nagi's team has been the only thing to change. his team was based on my original Pokemon Gold team. his team has been changed to reflect my Pokemon Heart Gold team. he now uses "manlier" pokemon (although 2 of the pokemon from the original team are on the current. they're still manly, though). Nagi misses his ampharos and lapras, and little puppy riolu, but he approves of the manly replacements.
4.) Nagi used to be part of a huge gang that ruled Blackthorn. the gang was wiped out by Team Rocket one day because of plot reasons. Nagi now survives on a day-to-day basis as a pickpocket and a shoplifter.
those are my three oldest OCs/RP characters.

IV) Kadenz
1.) Cadenza. musical terms, yay
2.) shirotsuki's Tied To Infinity piece is the originator of this character. I wanted a shape-shifter character. a TRUE shape-shifter. his neutral form is heavily based on that artwork, but he doesn't look like that. he COULD, but he doesn't.
3.) Kadenz started out nameless. I kinda chose Kadenz, but only after Nazgul-Crayon gave me a huge list of musical terms that she liked (though I was the one who wanted his name to be some sort of musical term). his home moved from a forest on the edge of a village to a mountain keep with a village far below. his interactions with humans has dropped from rarely to very rarely with this change. originally, he attempted to go to the village to make friends and learn the human language, but has since been changed to him going to the village to eat some animals.
originally, he started out with the mentality of a 5-year-old, but now he's...much younger. he's grown up in the wilderness and so acts like a wild animal. that much hasn't changed. due to not having a lot of human contact, he's also more wary of humans, and isn't as eager to make friends as before.
I also changed the limits of his shape-shifting ability. it used to be that he could change his eye color, hair color, and could get really big or really small. now he only has one hair and eye color and his size limits have shrunk to a smaller range.
4.) Kadenz's original setting is called Glen on a forum-rp. the name was given by one of the other rpers. his working title was Shifter.
V) Luna (Lucretia)
1.) list of names from the Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader book.
2.) needed to create a character for the new Rogue Trader campaign we're starting. Navigator was taken, so I'm Communications.
3.) due to me being sick and missing the first session (AND I MISSED KILLING THE EMPEROR. OMG), I haven't actually gotten to play her yet. I plan on her being a bit insane, distant from reality, and really non-caring of the other crew. and she just likes to have fun, though that fun may occasionally be at the pain of others. not that she cares.
basically, a more sadistic River Song, I guess.
4.) THEY KILLED THE EMPEROR WITHOUT ME. THOSE BASTARDS. (and my other 40k character is swearing vengeance upon them and will not stop until they are dead...or she is)
